Nestled within the serene beauty of Brazil, the triple room we booked was a haven with its air conditioning, private entrance, and a good tile finish that echoed the warmth of the local architecture. Each morning, we savored a generous continental breakfast that fueled our explorations, all while soaking in the tranquil surroundings. One noteworthy aspect was the really good housekeeping; our room was impeccably maintained, creating a sanctuary to return to after our day trips to nearby attractions like the stunning Cachoeira de Deus. Just a heads up for future travelers: if you plan on arriving outside reception hours, be sure to inform the hotel of your ETA ahead of time to ensure a smooth check-in. Pousada Doce Mel provided a perfect base for our adventures and a wonderful window into the region's picturesque charm.
